Extract of sample "Governance of Dual-Use Research: Ethic Dilemma"

In the dilemma, it is important to consider both the negative and the positive aspects of the situation. The new process used for the management of employees and the reduction of data entry errors acts as an attempt for the creation of a strong ethical environment in the workplace. However, the process is also useful in the determination of the weaknesses of the employees, while at the workplace. The new system provides ethical guidelines that aid in the reduction of data entry errors. This creates a challenge for the employees in utilizing the new process for better work production.

In addition, the workers develop a sense in understanding that they are the key component for success both at the individual and at the organizational level. On the other hand, the system aids in the determination of human behavior in the workplace (Selgelid, 2009). It determines the real personalities of the workers in relation to how their work is efficient. To explain further, the system aids in understanding the human psychology of the workers through monitoring how they manage their free time at work.
