The mother must not be seen to control the matters of the family. The grandmother may only implement the rules set by Susie. The mother can assist Susie in reminding the young kids of their duties. Susie must be advised by the nurse to teach the kids how to respect the new family member.  Health education can enhance health promotion in this family teaching Susie how to take good care of the mother. The education will also give Mrs. Jones self-help skills. Self-care is of much importance in this family since Susie has to go to a job and leave the mother alone. Health education will also create awareness of the health condition of the mother and give elaborate information about her disease. This will help in the prevention of more infections in the family, especially if the granny was suffering from a communicable disease. If the mother is having lifestyle health complications, Susie and the kids will learn from the education and change their lifestyle as well.
